Is messy hair a bad look

This is a refrence photo with my hair messy right out the shower do you think it’s better to have hair combed and styled to look more professional or is it more appealing to have messy hair I am 18 so I usually style my hair more professional because I’m an adult but just wondering others opinions

when your face is symmetrical, messy hair isnt that optimal
when its asymmetrical its good

Only on some people it looks good. On others the hair just looks unkept. You are the latter.
