Is mewing cope?

Next month I will do palate expander surgery and i search online some method for fix recessed jaw caused by small palate and only and most glazed method Is mewing.
I know Is good for better nose breathing but Is possible with palate expander and mewing increase more the forward growt than only surgery for palate?

Mewing is not cope during development, chewing hard foods, nasal breathing and keeping the tongue on the palate during development can give forward maxillary growth and widen the palate over time (Years of development). but at your age which could be late teens you need orthodontic work or orthognanthic surgery (Bimax) to fix any recession caused by poor development or most importantly Genetics. take care man good luck PS Marpe or MSE is orthodontic palate expansion
