It depends because your jawline will naturally develop during puberty. There aren’t any reliable studies showing that mewing improves this natural development, but breathing through your mouth can fuck with your jaw and facial development during puberty. So yeah, it might help a little, especially if it gets you to breathe through your nose, but probably not that much.
