is mewing possible if you have a tongue tie?

will i be able to achieve results from mewing if my tongue is tied? im sure it is because my tongue cannot reach the roof of my mouth when my jaw is fully open. the tip and middle of the tongue can reach the roof however.

But you can stretch the frenulumn to allow for more flexibility if that's the case.

Most people can't get the full tongue up with the mouth open. So don't dwell on that dude. Unless you have a lisp and issues talking I can guarantee it won't obstruct the tongue to the point where you can't mew. Although I will say that when I started mewing it was hard as I felt it was weighed down by the tie. It's taken me almost 8 months but now I feel no strain on the tie. In theory it will stretch over time.

No, it's not possible.

I had a consultation to be sure actually. Smile as wide as you can and then swallow. You will feel how far back the tongue can touch the palate.

Get a frenectomy. Anyone can get one. Back when I used to believe 100% in mewing, I didn’t have tongue tie and complained to an ortho and got it done so I could Mew better.
