Is mewing with the underside of the tongue bad?

I can put a lot more force on the back of the palate when I push with the under side of my tongue. Surprised no one has talked about this.

Back pushing mewing is overrated. I started hard mewing a few days ago again, and I push mainly at the front now.

Wouldnt lip width be affected most if you push in front since mouth size depends on inter canine width

Front means beneath the nose. It's a fact of physics that way the force would have the most CCW like effect.
