Is Mid-October a Good Time to Visit Jakarta, Indonesia?

Will there be heavy rains and flooding during this time?

The reason I ask is because I will be doing a lot of walking, and I don't want to end up getting drenched with torrential rains and swimming in the flooded streets.

I'm getting conflicting information about the weather in Jakarta in October on the internet. I don't know why there isn't a consensus about this. The answer should be simple and straightforward. Everyone should agree on it. I mean, if it's raining most of the time in October, shouldn't everyone agree that October is rainy? Why, then, are some people saying that October is sunny in Jakarta, while others are claiming it's rainy? Are some people hallucinating?? Let's hope I don't get the same type of answers here, if I get any at all.
