Is minoxidil supposed to sting?

I just used 5% topical minoxidil on my eyebrows, and it kinda stinged. I wiped with tissue a little and vaseline on it immediately. Is it supposed to sting? Help

Yes, alcohol is the solvent so it stings. You can aslo put on vaseline to help protect and soothe the skin

Yeah one time I had this little cut in my finger and it hurt like crazy, but not really when you're applying it normally.

It has propylene glycol and alcohol so it will cause some stinging

Maybe if you derma-roll too which has thousands of little punctures that'd sting like hell ngl
