Learning MMA will teach you how to beat the fuck out of someone with strikes, grappling, and such, you’ll build some Athleticism no question, and against someone whose never had any training while you have year(s), you’ll prolly fuck them up even with height weight differences. However, when you fight someone who also knows how to counter your double legs and jijitsu and kicks, then your skill is no longer the multiplier, it’s athletism that wins, ie most nba players are skilled but the best player is Lebron because you can’t teach 6’8 270 lbs fast twitch.

Weight classes are already a blackpill, saying “we gotta separate the boys to make it fairer, big frame alphas fight big frame alphas, small lower T fights small lower T

if you spend years working on your craft but get beat by someone whose been training a third less than you but outweighs you 50 pounds or taller than a foot, is your activity a cope?

being short and skinny are the worst builds for combat ,losing reach and grappling control

Humans were not made to fight bare handed, otherwise bears and lions would be king. Instead we evolve to equalize combat not through fists but weapons

There was a Japanese fighter named Minowa who used to fuck up tallfags 100 pounds heavier than him which can be life fuel but if you were to ask him would he to do it again and fight someone his size or another giant who would he honestly pick

fighting is an inertly high test activity.
so it doesn't matter what type of martial arts you do.
as long as you aren't doing the pretty princess ribbon women's self-defence class (no joke they literally teach women how to choke their rapist with a ribbon).

Very true. Now that humans arent allowed to dual with weapons the biggest low iq brute wins. With weapons, bodyweight and being a caveman dont matter anywhere near as much, if at all.

Being a high IQ pretty boy quick drawer and blasting some low iq cavemogger in the nuts was probably incredibly empowering.

It's all about looking strong/dangerous, not actually being strong/dangerous (althought they are correlated obviously).

If you are strong/dangerous, but don't look like it, you will not benefit much.

you may not benefit much initially, but when someone tries you and you put them down, then observers will know what you are capable of

Knowing you can fuck almost anybody up gives you great confidence, mma defitetly isn't cope.

That's the best feeling in the world if someone picks on you or is trying to start a fight. That you know you can fuck up that mofo reall bad.

I never said ''i can'' in my post, are you retarted orsomething? what's your point.

even without writing that you can fight its obvious that youre trying to say that you can
who else would say that knowing how to fuck someone up is ths best feeling in the world if you dont know that feeling

Most amateur, hobbyist martial artists don't lift weights or even do calisthenics because they're utterly convinced that with good enough technique, a 5'2 90 pound bar slut could knock a 6'3 240 pound thug to the ground with her bare hands. (The professionals know better. On top of mastering technique, they lift massive weights and often are sauced to the gills, especially at higher weight classes.) At the same time, amateur, hobbyist martial artists don't do nearly enough practice (especially sparring) to master technique enough for it to matter outside their McDojo. It's absolutely a cope for skinny-fat framecels and foids who are too ugly to have a squadron of white knights at their beck and call. If you want to be better at self-defense, you're better off lifting weights, taking roids, and buying a handgun.

How often you get into fights? If often, maybe you should stop hanging around dangerous guys or places? Why you have to build your confidence with fighting skills?

I have done MMA but mostly I did Muay Thai, which I prefer because I don't like grappling that much. I don't do them anymore, just lift.

Gun > fighting skills anyway.
