I believe it's like 70% overweight 30-40% obese. The 30% not overweight is not necessarily in good shape. I've read a claim that said that only 12% of Americans are metabolically healthy, and that sounds accurate to me.

all older people, but in my american highschool there are like 10 kids that are obese. not common at all to be fat

Yes, they're an example of what I call dark matter. It's like actual dark matter. There's 6X more dark matter in the universe than visible matter, but we never see it. It's also like "the silent majority." There's lots of examples of this. Like someone asked "Will men ever stop simping?" No because simps are dark matter. There will always be way more of them than non-simps. Anyway, obese people mostly don't leave the house, so you don't see them, but then you'll discover a nest of them. I had work study job in a nursing administration office and it was all women and they were all huge, and that was 15 years ago, so I'm sure it's even worse now. And once I went to a Publix in central Florida and I swear I was the only person not in a mobility scooter.

But it doesn't matter because the lack of competition from obese men is canceled out by the lack of attractive women. Actually, I think this is part of the reason the dating situation has become so dire. Being overweight has a bigger impact on a woman's sexual value than a man's, so not as many overweight men are excluded from the dating pool as overweight women.

It all depends where you live, some places I’ve visited I haven’t seen very many fat people but even though I live in a liberal area there are still lots of fat people. Fat men are fine because that lowers your competition but fat women isn’t good for anybody

Not hard to reach that bodyweight when you look at American foods... When tourists go to America, first thing they notice is the size of American portions, they are absolutely ginormous!

in the south everybody's fat af, apparently it's the same in the midwest flyover states. Some exceptions are Colorado (probably the high af altitude) and California (standards are higher than avg). Generally boomers I would say are at least 70% obese.

Just from being in a country with a similar obesity rate imo most obese people tend to be >35, not too many morbidly obese people ages 16-24 just overweight
