Is mt1 uncommon / better

Cant seem to find many repeatable places with it is mt2 that much more standard? Which do you think is better

both tan you but mt2 is more potent, mt1 would be used primarily during summer time when you are already outside tanning, mt2 is for winter times when you can't really be tanning, correct me if I'm wrong tho
