Is my braces treatment a looksmin?

I haven't had any teeth removed, they're correcting a mild overbite and obviously crooked teeth.
Since I've had them on (tiny bit over a year now) I feel like I do look a bit better but that may be from just late puberty

Na I have the same. Little overbite and I got Damon braces in rn but they gave me a palate expander which i used for a while. If u had expanded ur chillin
