This sounds eerily similar to my current situation atleast have friends i eat lunch with n shit and a couple close friends but never get invited anywhere

that's what my life became when all my friends dissapeared after 4th grade, so not exactly childhood really
i never gave a shit about trying to speak to anyone else to develop my social skills because i felt so good and understood with them because they were unscrupulous semi autistic weirdos who were weirdly mature for their age just like me and liked the same niche things i did (that certainly didn't help since the only social interaction i got was non nt, so i was never "normal" from the beginning despite having a friend group)

spent the next 4 years exactly like this but i got adopted by some nt hood kids for some reason in the end and they taught me how to become NT in big quotes because it never really worked, i was just a robot spitting out the slang and copying the mannerisms they taught me, in an obviously unnatural and fake way, the tism always shined through the cracks, we never hung out outside of school and they abused and humiliated me more times than 1 (did nothing cuz i was a cuck)
when they didnt show up that was how i spent break time (most of the time in hidden places no one came to though)

then i finally left and abandoned all of them when i dropped out to not deal with any other human again, never had a friend since
