An Indian international student stayed at his place for 2 weeks. They got along fine, casual conversations, nothing deep. He wasn’t super communicative, but still talked when he had to with her. Since she moved out, she’s been messaging him every single day, saying she misses him, asking what he’s doing, asking why he's not messaging her back, and being kind of flirty. It feels pretty intense and weird given how little they actually connected. He’s starting to wonder if this is genuine interest or possibly something else, like trying to get closer to him for immigration/citizenship reasons.

I told him that she's likely just using him, and he agreed. He told her that he has a girlfriend and she didn't text back. I guess that means she wasn't texting him as a friend.
