is my indian orthondist trying to recess me

its been 4 months since ive gotten my herbst appliance removed and today i just got elastics. The thing tho is that my indian orthodontist gave me class 3 elastics(for underbite) instead of class 2(for overbite). Is it supposed to be that way or is he trying to recess me even more? Note: i still have a very slight overbite but its not as bad as it was a year ago.

ask him why not give you a class 2 instead of class 3. It’s not gonna recess you people lie here to cope for bad genetics
