The past 4-5 times I’ve flown, TSA has “had to” pat down my genitals because they presumably didn’t realize I have a penis. Every time they act like it could have been any number of things that set it off (some TSA officers have even insisted that it’s my fault for sagging my plants, bullshit). But when the little yellow squares appear over my genital region on the monitor I think it’s pretty obvious to everyone what’s going on.

The funny thing is that I don’t even think I look like a cis woman at all. I have long hair and a somewhat androgynous face but otherwise appear pretty masculine. So much for gender being an innate physical property I guess 🤷

I just hate that this is my new normal.

Anyone else hate dealing with this too?
