if they line up then its not recessed

Your chin and maxilla look alright, it just seems like you have dogwater cheekbones and maybe infras. Malar augmentation might help to relieve the recessed look.

the bones have to line up not the soft tissue which you can’t check without an x-ray

Not really. Although it is hard to tell because the glabella is cropped out and you need that to check for recession
