Is my maxilla recessed? Face mask needed?

I know that my palate is narrow and I’m getting MSE to fix that issue, but is my maxilla also recessed because in that case I could ask my orthodontist for a facemask.

Yes your maxxila is reccesed. But trust me. Start mewing
 
I do mew but I’m pretty sure it won’t have any bigger effects.
I thought that too in the beginning. But that was over 2 years ago. Now my face is noticeably wider than my family members

I mean look I do mew and everything that people say to do but I haven’t noticed any change in maxillary width or projection

Yea that’s what I’m thinking but I’m wondering is a face mask necessary or do I just get the palate expander alone?
You need trimax surgery and mse
 
If you take action now, consistently wearing a face mask while doing mse at 14 can have good effect. You can combine it with maybe some pharmaceuticals to make it slightly more effective. If things go well you can make your recession not stand out anymore.
 
Whats important is that they dont push your lower jaw back to fix your underbite. if they do you have to kill them.

ahhhh ok so your lower jaw does fit with your recessed maxilla. Well then if you do happen to achieve forward growth i nthe maxilla this means youll also get more forward gworth in the lower jaw making it more prominent.

Make sure you also have good nutrtion.
Ye I make sure to eat a lot of good food and I cut out all the processed foods, also make sure to get a lot of calcium, k3d2 etc

But I would at least get an expander
Expansion is definitively checked on my to do list but as for facemask, do you not think that using it whilst having MSE could lead to some sort of valuable forward growth?

I have no idea, I got into bp when I was 22 so I never really cared to learn abt orthodontics, it wouldn’t have done shit for me
 
Your issue is just your maxilla, you have a strong mandible. You’re 14 so lots of growth left. Focus on having good myo functional habits so the growth will be positive. And definitely do orthodontic work that is expanding only no restricting. Yes consistent face mask wear at 14 could make a change. Stuff like hgh could help change even more. You seem like a smart kid so do your best and you’ll def make progress over the years.

Yeah thank you so much, this has nothing to do with my post, but I experience waking up at 2-4am sometimes and I don’t know how to stop it, I eat at 7pm and make sure to be asleep by 10pm, I do take ADHD medicine though but use magnesium 1 hour before bed and 5mg melatonin 30 minutes before but I still keep on waking up.

adhd medication can interfere with sleep, are you on adderal or ritalin? 5mg melatonin is good. And magnesium glycinate i assume? Magnesium didnt make me feel much tbh. you seem to have a good routine. Good that you're doing that at your age. Its tricky if you are waking up in the middle of the night. that means something is keeping you out of deep sleep. This could be cortisol, medication or just irregularities in your circadium rythm/sleep pattern. Try to be critical of yourself and look at things you're doing that might be negatively impacting sleep or your circadium rythm. Waking up early in sun light for example helps. It can be many things but you should definetly fix this because getting good restfull sleep is one of the biggest looksmaxxes. Late reply because im not on here too much.
