is my palate narrow ? contemplating getting a palate expander

biting the piece of paper (first molars) the intermolar width measures 40 mm, but when measuring from my retainers (had damons last year) from the base of the actual first molar it measures as 34mm, adding 2mm for the thickness of the plastic itself lets say 36mm, does that mean that my molars flare out? or is it normal cuz maybe they have a wider base all-round ? if my palate was 36mm id have no problem with it but i have noticed that my mouth isnt enough wide and my cheekbones could be better.

What is my correct palate width ?
Do i get a palate expander?
Is there there a way to get a palate expander without my parents knowing ? (like they send me the molding kit, im EU tho )

judging off the under eye circles u prob have sleep apnea, I would imagine it wouldnt hurt to increase your airway as most people's are not developed to full potential anyways.
