Is my skincare better than accutane

I have accutane otw
But my doctor prescribed me antibiotics for back acne
I’m on tret and using the lrp products for tret users and my skin is becoming really good
If I take accutane they won’t prescribe me antibiotics
I like knowing it’s both systemic and topical
Opinions?

antibiotics are good for inflammation bc most of the inflammation is due to bacteria, but after a while they stop working because of bacteria resistance

i was on antibiotics for a few months before going accutane when i was 17, it worked for a while but then it didnt. same with most things i tried - topic acids, topic tret, adapaleno. cleared my skin for the first week, then acne started creeping back

accutane pills are the most op thing for acne atp

Nothing beats accutane. You don't need anything else for any acne.

Yea I’m 17 too, I’m thinking about just using the antibiotics while I have them because I get them free so why not and I can use my remaining tret, I don’t even have much acne at all so that’s why I’m questioning if it’s worth it

theres smaller pills than that but you can start by taking 1 every 2 days if its nothing serious and want to clear up a few pimples

also reduces the collateral effects like dry lips and eyes

Yes but the price to mg ratio was more ideal cuz im also not rich, it was like 12 cents for 20 and 15 for 30 and I could order more thats the only reason, so yea its either every 2 or 3 days, maybe I’ll start with 1/3 but I also dont eat a lot of fat so I will have to change my diet a little

dunno about diet i just ate whatever, only thing that i heard you must totally avoid is alchohol. i imagine also other things that put strain on the liver such as green tea and some sweeteners (aspartame)

I think I’ll be good on a low dose, maybe use some antioxidants, I got pregab and baclofen in the same order anyway so I won’t need to drink
