Is my surgeon scamming me with this hair transplant density?

The surgeon saw me in person and quoted 700 grafts, but later his assistant told me it could go upto 1200. I already have a hairline, im just trying to reinforce it with more hair between my native hair.

The area that needs more hair is 12 cm x 1cm = 12cm/square which means 700 grafts will give me 58 follicular unit per cm of density + my native hair. Is that good enough? My hairloss hasnt progressed in 2 years, it was from non MPB reasons and I have pictures documenting the history.

Is this gonna look retarded? I got thick ass hair outside that 1cm of hairline and no history of baldness in the fam. Thx

Donor hair has a premium on it. A conservative approach is a good sign for a mindful surgeon. The discrepancy between doc and assistant is worrying though. An acceptable density used here in Germany is between 35 and 50 units. Yours is very good.

I had the opposite problem. Im bald right now due to an accident and used that to get my hair checked. 1500-2400 grafts depending on my desired density to restore my youthful hairline. A Turkish hairmill wanted to plant 3000 grafts in an area that size, that is also diffuse thinning so with lots of seemingly healthy hair remaining.

Don’t make the mistake of going to Turkish hair mills they will waste your precious grafts. I’m consdiering Pekiner in turkey now given my minimal and non progressive hair loss. I’m looking for something close to Perfection

Good on you. I'll try my luck with a German hair clinic. They charge 6300€ for 2000 grafts, including a stay in their clinic for after care. Seems reasonable and it will restore my hairline. Minox and Fin turned my hair island into a peninsula again and this should wrap the hair part of my looksmaxing up.

I just hope I can do it in January, otherwise I won't make it till the con season starts again. I got laid and a fwb as a bald guy, which was a huge whitepill for me, but its mostly women 30+ that show interest now. So I gotta fix this and do so before I breach the 30 myself.

Gg bro, I don’t find the quality of 90% transplants to be good enough for my needs. I have just density loss in 1cm of my hairline which isn’t really visible but I want to try hair styles where it might be exposed

Gonna be off a bit. Im waiting for winter to see how min and fin work. Already turning my hair island to a peninsula as I said, so Im still eager to see what will happen. I also don't want to sweat much the first rew days, so winter should be ideal.

The clinic I picked for now guarantees survival of 92% and offers a stazionary stay until the critical 72 hours are over. I think it will be anywhere from 1300-2400 grafts, depending on how much fin and min do.

Im most attraced to nerdy girls into anime, so I want to look presentable in May or at least July when the big cons in Germany are. I still manage to attract female attention bald, but its a different type of woman, Im not to happy. With with exceptions.

bro for that budget id suggest u to go with docs from the hair transplant subreddit wicki. There are 4-5 options in turkey which arent hair mills and are genuinely good US-Western europe level or better surgeons.
