Is my upper maxilla recessed? Read desc

I’m going to the dentist next Monday and I’m apparently qualified for Invisalign. I’m not sure if should get Invisalign but I did hear it expands your palette like 1-2 mm. I also notice that my upper jaw is less expanded than my bottom jaw and my teeth doesn’t sit comfortably on my top teeth. I’m just not sure what to do about it yo.

get MARPE ir MSRPE you have very bad maxillary recession, if possible you could get a bimax covered by insurance just because it looks very badly downward grown

Yeah agreed he should get it just not for projection

any mm increase would be benificial

They project <1mm (= not >1mm) with no constant projection results even when paired with face mask
But yeah maybe hes lucky and somehow gets a mm or two

MARPE might be best than, 6-8mm increase should def help him

theres no need, if your bite doesnt align, ask your orthopedist about what he thinks about MARPE

Alright cus also either my upper jaw or lower jaw is like unaligned like the 2 front teeth noticibely don’t align right by like half a cm lmao

yeah same i have a overjet myself which causes bimaxillary protrusion, and pushes my mandible backwards.

I have an overbite, and about 4 teeth prominently show, you can BARELY see the other 2 beside the front 4 teeth. Whenever I look at my upper jaw I can noticeably see it sorta cave in like in the middle. I notice assymetry with the jaw as if my lower jaw is a few mm to the left. I don’t notice any other major deformities other than like crooked teeth ig so yh.

yeah, marpe doesnt recess at all it expands your maxailla and there is no need to extract because it goes in the middle of your pallet
