It's relative. 68mm palate width may be wide for you but is narrow for me, due to height difference. The best way to test palate size is by the julia roberts test. Just smile and count the number of teeth visible.

It is like the strong maxilla and mandible act as hills and lack of buccinator tone serves as a valley, this contrast is what gives the appearance of hollowness and is physiologically and functionally desirable.
