It's mostly cope. I'm severly addicted to nicotine, using 20 nicotine pouches every day. In my case, going without nicotine would be stupid, but for someone who has not developed an addiction, you may perform even worse. Especially if you don't know how nicotine works for you. But you can drink Redbull. There were studies on it. The IQ increase on matrices test was like 3-6 points, iirc. Coffeine has a simple, easy to predict mechanism in your body, nicotine does not - its effects on you depend on many factors.
