I’m seeing some saying once every other day, once every two days, 3 times a week, and so on

I said once a week in the same thread, obvious joke coming from me, im obsessed with hygiene.

Anyways, i shower 2-3 times a day I can’t really imagine myself skipping a day, is skipping actually common?

No, being on the diet that I’m on I stopped taking showers to see if I would stink and I didn’t. I do have slightly smellable odor due to the animal fats I put on my body.
