Ive seen this many times on tiktok snd with friends where they dont study because they think it will raise there cortisol.
I personally think its the other way around, but it depends on if the person has a understanding or no understanding of the work, a person with understanding of the work they need to cover before a test would most likely enjoy or feel less stress after going through the work that is going to be tested on the other hand a person who doesn’t understand the work would probably stress during the studying but will feel relief and less stress after understanding the work, I probably sound like a dumbass but i think studying is the way because it avoids the stress of not knowing the work, parents or peers finding out about you doing bad or even failing.
I need some thoughts on this.
