Imagine thinking that complete freedom is childish and unideal. Having, responsibilities usually involves providing for people and being indebted to people, seems like complete shit. When you are very young and relatively free, where you can just chill with your broes and free to do stupid shit with no consequence that seems better.

oldcels also cope by talking down to younger people and saying that they "have more life experience", etc... yet most of them are beta providers so obviously they didn't learn anything

Not only that but it was easier to get a job, find a house etc now you need to be qualified for even the most menial jobs

It's mostly social pressure too though. Your friends start wageslave carreers, buy houses on debt, become betabux, get children, etc.

And then you are weird/a loser for not doing the same

In the old days, it made sense - the wife cooked, cleaned, took care of the house and kids. The children were also put to work sometimes from a pretty early age, at least in rural areas; the bigger your family was, the easier it was for you...
Now you can't put your children to labour, the women expect you to do at least half of the house work, if they divorce you, they take your money, house and you'll have to pay alimony, it just doesn't make any sense in this age to start a family, you get no advantages and only disadvantages...

The only responsibilities they have is raising their kids right so they have a good future and live a happy life but the majority can't even do it.

High IQ thread. The idea of having endless responsibilities is a stupid normie social construct, especially for the losers.

People rope because of these responsibilities. And if not suicide, then it is about resorting to drugs/alcohol to lower the stress. Being a stress-free NEET is everyone's dream, especially when they have time for their hobbies or whatever they enjoy to do.
