Survival is not rational
U WILL eventually die
Sure u may experience pleasure, but u will experience pain too

So why not js die, so that u dont have to suffer?

Then there must be a reason we fear death
Because it’s unknown?
Then that would assume instability scares us more than anything
From which u could infer that this points to an insatiable longing for a state of primal absolution (ie pre-division)

Fear of death is the fear of unknown and the fear of the pain in the process. I would not fear death otherwise

I dont think its pain, life has plenty of pain and suffering itself
I think its a more so an obfuscation of meaning

I used to dream about going against the cycle of life. I used to not eat to be different than npcs who would die thinking it would fetch me a different destiny. I accepted it a few years ago and don't give a shit anymore. Life is just systemic progression of entropy. You can't reverse it and any attempt to reverse it is futile and insignificant
