Is pedophilia just a mental illness reaction?

I’ve been starting to think pedophiles are created more by mental illness in certain incest like childhood trauma then in any other conditions. Study’s in pedophiles in real life have proven many experienced emotional distress during childhood. Is it possible pedophiles are created during childhood and less during puberty ages? Also what does pornography affect what added to the mix. Do we think addressing the common issue in porn addiction will lower the number of sexual assaults and pedophila?
