I look utter horse shit from photos. 30-40MM distortion make my midface and nose bigger than it is in real life... Im just saying all of this because I got praised by girl today in Irl. She is not ugly girl... Maybe its because my sideprofile moggs my front face.. I dont know.

Either way, I think some features are more photogenic than others anyways. Some matter more in motion others matter more in pictures.
Obvious example is asymmetry, irl it will not be that bad but in photos it hurts a lot.

Imo, I look much better in close up pictures. In distanced pics I look like a bloat lord.
It might pronounce flaws(asymmetry), because it's a still picture, but if you're harmonious, it will look better than real life. If the picture is taken the right way.

Yes and no. Lens distortion makes even some of the most attractive people look less so. But as prior stated, some features look better in pictures than others. Recession however, never looks good.

Yeah it depends of face height.. For example if you have small head.. The distortion can help your face to look taller... If you have slightly big midface like me.. It can make it look twice as bigger.

i look like death on pictures with friends, and i tend to squint aswell so it makes my eye area look like its bulging since no under eye support.
