L-theanine reduces the effects of caffeine. The trick is just to use it on the very hard days like a couple times a week, and just caffeine and the things which work for you, which are pretty cheap anyways most of the time.I was a huge addict of pre-wo for over ten years but ran out one day, went to the gym, and have never taken it again. Honestly I feel you get a better workout if you're not insanely amped up. If you lift in the morning just drink a coffee or something but it's just a waste of money.
