I fucking hate my engineering job, I'm at Community College rn to complete some courses in order to get a degree in something else.

I was thinking either teaching or programming.
I saw an ad for a 2 year long course in Python development with specialization in AI.

Is this a good choice? Any Pythonfags here?

I've always been kinda interested in AI and ML.
But I don't know if I'm smart enough to cut it in that field. But I guess since I already have a masters in engineering then maybe I still have a shot? idk lol.

It’s very hard (machine learning) you need to be good @ maths very talented and you must know a lot about algorithms and shir

I’m doing it to make games and cyber security it’s not 2 hard to learn the fundemantals but besides that it can be a pain but I love Python far easier than java and I’m a dog shit programmer so shit cos I’m too lazy to practace

I was actually very interested in a course like that, but then I noticed that you have to do math. Maybe I should try a general python course, hopefully no math.

I never really struggled with math that much, but I wouldn't say I'm a math genius either.

Is it really that hard to do ML without genius-level skills in math?

I dunno I mean I have done AI for games I guess and I’m completely usless in maths but that was not complicated and I relied on YouTube. ML is a different beast though, but if your msthericslly minded and know how to program then it shouldn’t be impossible
