I am very receded and need a surgeon who can really bring my jaw forward. I've seen good results from Ramieri but alfaro for example is even more extreme and aggressive when it comes to moving the lower jaw forward. what would you say is Ramieri still gtg?

he is legit because he does good planning and good CCW or CW relative to your needs. He does bonegrafting which is a huge plus, can impact maxilla with posterior downgraft and anterior impaction. I don't know if he is doing custom plates.

however he is cheapest amongst the best, good planning and not risk to be botched like Alfaro ( banana looking jaw )

Pagnoni and Raffaini are other good choices too.

I had 14mm advancement of mandible + genio, 3.5mm of maxilla and i wasnt recessed at all

19k euros, as mine was custom as i had widening

no braces, just invisalign post, no teeth removal
I just Hope he does not raise his prices because I First Need to make 15k lol

Also I would go to Ramieri because 1) he rarely botches 2) yah he is kinda conservative but he produced one of the best bimax results ever that was on a patient who didn't have some condition like SFS or overbite

Because If I have 15k it takes around 1-2 years

How aligned were your teeth prior to surgery?
perfectly, had some crowding on the lowers, surgery left me with a mild open bite (cant be seen from the front only from below)

Why did you have bimax if you weren't recessed at first place.
To increase projection/forward growth, width. I wasn't recessed but I was quite flat faced and slightly downward grown. My gonial angle is much better now due to the ccw

is the post surgery invisalign going to fix it

Did Ramieri worked with your local orthodontist

He seems to be a bit on the conservative side yes but won't overadvance you like Alfaro.

Big overbite to begin with tho? I want big forwards and downwards mandible movement but dont know what my midface can handle for movement.

what do you mean width? you had bone graft in your lower jaw to make it wider?
