Is reducing DHT via topical finasteride at 17 bad?

okay well around 30% systematic
i apply 0,2 mg finasteride on my scalp daily
i dont know how much that is compared to others

Yeah you don't want to really block dht systemically a that age since you still need for development but then again hair is life and you don't want to be bald at 18/19. So until you are like 19 I would cope with minoxidil and a topical anti androgen maybe if it gets really bad

im using 0,2 mg finasteride topical in total per day at night do you think that could nerf me? im 17

Im doing it because on one side i have less hair than on the other side and then the derma prescribed me finasteride but during a tricoscopie he said that im not really balding.
The big thing:
recently my mom showed me that on the exact same side as my hair she also has lesser than on the right site. Obviously cuz shes a woman i dont think that she is balding and that its genetical.

Aka: What if i just stop using finasteride and only keep using minoxidil since it could be that im not balding or should i just use finasteride just in case?

Also an deiner Stelle würde ich vielleicht mit Finasteride aufhören. Wenn du Angst hättest, dass es irgendwie deine Pubertät negativ beeinflusst, aber 0,2 mg schon eine sehr geringe Dose und wird wahrscheinlich keinen großen Effekt haben, gerade weil es ja topisch ist und wie ich dir schon mal gesagt habe kein so großen Einfluss auf systemic DHT level haben wird.

Ja, klar könnte ich aufhören, aber gleichzeitig sagen alle immer, dass wenn man merkt das man am balden ist, dass es da schon zu spät ist. Abgesehen von 2 Cousins sind in meiner Familie keine Leute am Balden.
