SHBG is a protein produced by the liver that binds to hormones such as testosterone, estrogen, and DHT, making them inactive.

SHBG has a much higher binding affinity for DHT compared to testosterone and estrogen. DHT stimulates chondrocytes proliferation and has been shown to interfere with ER alpha activation in breast tissue.

When monkeys were given DHT, linear growth was stimulated, but bone age was not accelerated. However, when DHT treatment stopped, skeletal maturation accelerated, supporting the idea that DHT interferes with ER alpha activation. Therefore, reducing SHBG will increase active DHT, which will have a positive effect on height.

But how can we do this? This can be achieved most effectively by taking oral androgens such as Proviron and Winstrol. Proviron has very high binding affinity to SHBG, which reduces available SHBG proteins that are able to bind to DHT. Winstrol reduces the liver's production of SHBG and has been shown to reduce SHBG by up to eighty percent. Overall, reducing SHBG will have positive effects on height.

Well I mean yea it’s just a precursor to being more healthy

Healthy = Taller

I don’t think it directly affects it as much as you would think
