Nope, everything matters. Although you don't need a crazy side: just don't be recessed in every of the 3 thirds. Everyone between a good side and front would pick front since it's the most important.

side profile is an indicator of facial projectedness. it is not good or bad on its own. if you have a good skull development you will have a good profile. bad skull growth is noticeable from all angles, profile is useful for pinpointing more exactly the cause

bad maxilla has a systemtic effect. leads to retruded jaw, no chin, and no zygos

It’s a bit more complicated than that

Side profile is the best angle to assess the growth/development the face, but you can’t lump all deformities together

Ofc things are generally connected, but in some cases, there are issues in the profile that can only be spotted in that angle or close to it (2/3)

Yes their side is not on par with their front but the point is it is still way better compared to normie side. Most of them don't have bad or even average side to begin with except john where even with tilt fraud his jaw still looks short.

only ppl (men) that come to mind are cavill & stepanov

Almost every one will descend from the side I think, it’s just an inherently less impactful and “interesting” angle, mostly about ticking boxes

That’s my experience too

Usually people with very good sides have at least decent fronts. Case in point: I can guess this girl is at least a HTB from this pic alone, but that’s because her’s is extremely good (even while being dogmaxxed)

That being said I still think front and 3/4 are more important for overall attractiveness

Yeah Basso is a good example, tho I think he was very young in the right and his ramus seemed to have grown a bit

Either that or he has the most fortunate masseter insertions ever

Yeah he’s clearly gl, but his side is almost flawless, meanwhile front is like solid HTN imo

Cavill’s side still mogs tho, I think it’s probably the best in the world

Not in my experience. A prominent side profile with visible mandible and gonions/gonial angle usually indicate a wide and angular jaw from the front. If it isn’t prominent from the side then usually that means inwards gonions and rounded jawline from the front
