Because you need to apply it every 2 hours. The best one is actinica lotion designed for skin cancer patients, only need to be applied once a day, extremely strong against any kind of uv, and long lasting. Extremely cheap too.

spf isnt really supposed to help with skin short term although it can aid the process off getting rid of dark spots and hyperpigmentation which i mainly fixed with tazarotene

I got some PIE and I heard the sun uv exposure could make it worse. so I’m looking into spfs to not make it worse
