Is sleeping on hard surfaces cope for asymmetry for nah

Or sleeping on ur back without a pillow ? I have seen sleeping on hard surfaces get rid of tight muscles (thats what causes assymetry) I will give it a try but do yall think its worth it?
 
Thats mostly cope, unless you sleep with one side of your face like this for years:

When i sleep in a position similar to that one, the face just looks weird as soon as i wake up but then it goes back to normal
