I am a college student in a large US city. Hypergamy seems next level here, you better be top 20% on dating apps or rip. Everyone is very antisocial, and I rarely see couples walking around together. Like shit, I rarely see groups of friends walking together. It really does seem like a Chad only city. I have a few male friends and none of them have GFs or get hookups, even one who is 6'2" with a normie face.


Went on a trip to a smallish town (70k pop.) in a conservative state. The town is the only one within 3 hours so it isn't just a big city suburb. Walked around downtown and I saw SOO many looksmatched young couples walking around together. So many Becky's who would be Chad only where I live were holding hands with normies. People generally seemed more social and lively in general. Anyone else noticed this??

Oh boy do I have a story for you. I had this same exact issue you had 2 years ago. Ok so I graduated from one of the most liberal colleges in the country. I am not gonna lie, I HATED it there. BLM protests every week, gay rights rallies, Biden campaigns, all that SJW shit. You think you're city was black pilled? Where I went, women would jump out in front of me while I was driving because they expected me to stop for them even when they weren't using a cross walk. This was on a 40 mph road. One woman I knew there told me she dated Justin Bieber for a week then broke up with him because he was too short and looked like an ugly rat. I did Tinder there and it took me a full year of green swipes to finally hook up with a drug addicted land whale. And the list goes on. So after I had finally "done my time" there I moved out of the city where I went to college and moved to the south. Im not gonna lie the first year here has been great, but now I have started to noticed some of the downsides to living in a small town as well. You see the advantage of a big city is that you have more room to fuck up. For example, the majority of crime outside of murder and rape go on unsolved in a city. So if you run a red light, stab somebody, steal people's shit, go 100 MPH on the highway, you are probably gonna get away with it. The problem with a small town is that you know everyone and everyone knows you. This makes people very harsh on you morally. If you fuck up, JUST ONCE - you are FUCKED. You will automatically get blacklisted, and the entire town will turn on you, unless you basically hand your life over to them to be used as community property and slave work. This has happened to me. Some dirt got out about some things that I did in my past, and ive been turned down for jobs within the city, some friends and family members don't talk to me anymore too. I wanted to tell you this before you decide to make any changes. I personally think you should get used to city life, if its too much some days you can just lock yourself in your room and binge play RuneScape like me.

I don't know if I can give an accurate answer with Tinder in a small town. I moved here right after the Tinder boom, so things were a bit easier when I first got tinder in 2016 and used it in a big city. I retired from tinder in 2018 and haven't been on but a couple times here and there, but haven't got any matches. Im honestly too old for tinder now and don't have time for that crap to be honest. I don't want hookups, I would prefer a patriarchal marriage.

Tinder honestly has become a money pit. They updated it with the gold membership in 2018, and now you basically have to pay for matches. Its really a waste of time and money tbh. Tinder is stupid.

Yes. Smaller towns tend to be more tribalistic. Outsiders are not welcome. You can't have any kind "different" thing about you or youll get outed immediately.

I lived for a long time in a small town and there weren't really any Chads there, they tend to move to better places and opportunities... Also, since everybody knows everybody there's less promiscuity, less cheating, less whoring around and more focus on long term relationships.
Dating apps like Tinder also aren't used, there might be some guys on them but no girls, if a girl would actually make an account there, she would be immediately recognized by the guys, word would quickly spread around and they would all come to her and be like "Hey, baby why are you looking for cock online, I have what you want right here!".
