Is snail mucin ACTUALLY good for skin?

Seen this product all over tiktok. Most likely just an overhyped product but seen people saying it cured their acne and made their skin crazy hydrated. Anyone tried it?

the only things that will realistically cure bad acne is luck, time, diet, or heavy topical/oral retinoid medication.

I actually prefer getting the snails from my garden and sticking them on my face. It does the job really well and it’s natural without all those chemicals!
