Is studying medicine and becoming a doctor a good idea in your opinion?

I have been thinking about becoming a doctor for some time. I can't find appeal in any other subject, it's like being a doctor is the only thing I can see myself doing in 10-20 years from now.
Note that in Europe medical school is 6 years
Pros that I can think of:
Respect earned
Interesting subject (imo)
Improves social skills
Feels good to help people
Chicks think you are high class
Good money after you finish training

Cons:
6 Years University + 1 Year Internship + 4-6 Years Residency + 1-2 Years Fellowship until you start doing the shit you want and get money
High stress bad for looksmaxing
Poor af for some time
Chicks may find the fact that you are always busy unappealing
No time for hobbies and fun because you need to study exams
Ungrateful patients
Risk of automation

there's not a day that passes by where I don't wish that I tried to become a doctor

the only downside is little free time as a doctor as well as general practise/general physician/not specializing might be boring

I think that you should try to study but also have a life (I.E, settle down with a 6/10-8/10), and try to keep stress to a minimum with a low stress diet (Ray Peat diet).
Try to do things low stress so you don't lose your hair or Collagen or get Hypogonadism by the end of it

Do it. I would've done it if I were 18 today. But now I am 20 and on my way to become a boring-ass investment banker

you'll be "sacrificing" your 20s for exams in nearly any field that results in good salaries
you'll be "sacrificing" a year or two grinding at work to get good after graduating as well in nearly any field that results in good salaries

If youre passionate then absolutely do it. Btw the 6 years of university arent THAT intense, many of my older friends in medicine still go out and party heaps. Its really the first few postgrad years that are pretty fucked, but regardless you wont be robbed of your early 20s at least

sounds like a lot of work without adequate compensation compared to other options. I don't understand why you would want to be a doctor unless you're super rich already and you just buy a degree and its more just a title and paycheck or if you're a workaholic ethnic whose parents pushed the idea on then since childhood.
