Looks/status/money is what matters here, your intellect, interests, hobbies, etc. are completely useless, I actually went to philosophy, art, poetry, acting, etc. clubs, girls were the majority there, but I was still invisible to them even if we shared the same interests.

My contention is that prior to the Revolutionary War, the economic modalities, especially in the southern colonies, could most aptly be characterized as agrarian, pre-capitalist
too difficult with my add. I'm good at liberal arts though so felt like philosophy might be a good gateway into a career within academia
