It’s my dream job, I’ve wanted to do it since I was a child. Unfortunately I’m not from a wealthy family which is how most pilots afford training.

I’m willing to work like a slave an absolute dog to afford it. 40 hours in a warehouse plus overtime geniuenly anything to make my passion and dream come true.

I’m not in it for the salary of 100k plus, I’m in it because it’s my dream. The money is genuinely just a bonus

dentist defo, im aiming to be a pharmacist tho since it seems more fun. If you really want to be a pilot then go ahead, just do something thats interesting

You have to serve them for 8 years after as well.
So 3 years hard work or 1-2 years + 8 years so 10 years with the chance of dying on deployment.

It’s a requirement, at least for the RAF and it makes sense. They pay for all your training, your required to serve them for 8 years

Why. Many pilots weight the risks of spending 90-100k for training full time.

I know some airlines do fully paid training but it’s extremely competitive. If you’re very committed, you can try that.

I also know someone from a working class background who managed to work numerous routine jobs to eventually pay for his training.

Yes well that’s the path I’m taking. My family is working class but I’m determined to make my dream come true.
Yes there are some airlines who do to sponsored training but yes the acceptance rate is literally 1%. Commitment yes of course but a lot of luck.
