Is taking mt2 safe if i'm under 18

• I’m currently 16 years old, and sun exposure isn’t really an option for me because I barely tan and usually burn. I’ve tried self-tanners, but they can be a hassle to apply, sometimes come out blotchy or unnatural, and even when they look good, the tan isn't as deep as I want. I’ve done my research on MT2, but my main hesitation is my age and the potential effects it might have on my hormones—that’s mostly what I’ve heard. Achieving a tan is one of the biggest pieces to my puzzle I need for my coloring but I’d really appreciate advice and personal experiences from you all about using MT2, and whether I should wait until I’m at least 18 before trying it.​
