Depends on the rest of your coloring, but yeah mostly tanning is legit.

Beta-Carotene 'tan' has been shown to increase facial attractiveness more than melanin tan and isn't bad for aging.
astaxanthin mitigates some of the damage that tanning does for your skin too so I'd still take them if trying to get a melanin tan

Melanin tan is likely better for making your body look good though so use a self tanner if needed.
worth noting I've seen people say that beta-carotene helps them keep their sun tan for much longer but no studies on this and people are dumb so can't say for sure

Yes it legit no doubt aslong as you dont go overkill. It makes you're muscles appear larger and can actually make you're face look slightly leaner(if lean already). You want olive coloured skin that's the ideal don't go overboard on sunbeds or mt2 and end up orange. I have blue eyes dark hair and look allot better with a bit of a tan.

if you're southern european tanning will make you look ethnic tbh

probably why then, 5 carrots alone is enough or 30,000IU
If you were eating liver for the vit A then that's pretty convoluted since beta carotene will already have you covered
If you didn't like the results I suggest you try a much lower dosage and incorporate some astaxanthin into it, it's an excellent supplement outside of coloring too.

No. My biggest looksmaxing mistake was going to a tanning bed (even though they didn't use wavelengths that burn (UVB), it was all UVA, which is even worse in terms of aging your skin).

Plus I have dark hair and blue eyes, I look much better with pale skin. But avoiding photoaging, is extremely important.
