is teaching a class of people a good way to treat my social anxiety?

for context, It's a class of 9th graders.
is it worth it? should I put myself through it?
not gonna lie the thought of it alone makes my stomach hurt from anxiety

Seems very niche. It may help with public speaking but it’s a very specific form of exposure, rather than just going to the direct root and making conversation with your peers and females

I think so, if it tackles your anxiety it should reduce as time goes on since you presumably become more accustomed. Though if it turns out to be a bad experience it might increase it.
That being said, if this step is too big, you can start with a multitude of other things that require less bravery but will still tackle your social anxiety (albeit maybe a bit slower).
