Depends on how long and how severely the steroids are abused I’m guessing. GnRH from hypothalamus stimulates LH and FSH from pituitary to stimulate test and sperm production. Taking roids provides negative feed back to those master hormones, but after quitting them, the lack of negative feedback should regenerate testes. But if the abuse of roids is too severe, the testes quit responding no matter what.
