Is the average man ltn or mtn?

I personally think and believe that if we took every man in the world and rated them ltn, htn, cl etc... that the average man would rank ltn-hltn. A friend of mine thinks that mtn is the "average" man because it is "mid" tier "normie". I think this is a totally grey take, but I just want to know who is right and eventually arguments supporting my take. He is the definition of "the grey"
