Is the college experience worth it?

What country you from? A business degree will get you a 50-60k starting salary in the US.
Only if you graduate from a top-tier school and network like crazy. Otherwise a generic business degree without specialized skills or experience is just another piece of paper Tons of grads flood the market every year, and most end up in mid tier corporate jobs. You need marketable hard skills to get into high finance.

Netherlands, none of my friends are going for a business degree lmao. Most are law students or studying computer science.

Only if NT, and if youโ€™re getting a good degree.
Compared to the niggas on this site Iโ€™m nt, not sure about compared to normies tho.
This is cope. All the high paying roles in buisness and high finance needs Hard analytical skills and are very hard to get into. It is not just connections. This niggas probably doesnt have experience in the field @DarkAscender
If you do marketing or mis or supply chain management itโ€™s not hard work tbh. And you start off at 50-60k and have potential to go up very high for salary.

Marketing is oversaturated and unless you have real-world experience or a strong portfolio you're just another grad competing for entry-level roles that barely pay livable wages. MIS and supply chain can be decent but they still don't have the same guaranteed demand as CS engineering or finance Plus, salary 'potential' means nothing if the majority get stuck in mid-tier management making average wages. A degree that relies heavily on networking and luck isn't as solid as one that builds in-demand, technical skills. Anything about management you can learn spending thousands of dollars in a business degree can be learned by simply working for a business and climbing the ladder. The entire field in general is more dependent on work experience and real world skills than something you learn through books

Gone are the days when only nerds were in STEM. STEM is mainstream now. Many chads are doing STEM to moneymaxx.

Business mogs in this regard. Barely anything to study. You could study one day before the tests and still ace everything but it is also pretty much worthless in the job market.

Youโ€™re probably Indian or something which is why you need STEM cope degrees.

Meanwhile a white frat bro will become middle management at some random US company with his business degree and earn 100k a year.

My brother has a CS degree and heโ€™s been unemployed for 1.5 years since he graduated. Entry level for CS is over unless your a Giga nerd incel Chinese who went to MIT or some shit.

I literally explained why a buisness degree is worthless without real world experience. Also this fantasy story. People in those high paying analyst in top firms are extremely high iq and analytical thinkers. They are the last to get blinded by good looks.99% of people in the industry have a maths or physics background and are very low t subhumans that care 0% about their looks.

Just look at the people who handle quant, index funds even most product and operations mangers are subhuman. For these roles being GL alone isnt enought. Im not saying looks halo doesn't exist but in most cases these things don't carry or translate in real life.

Yes CS is saturated now but there is no shortage of high paying software jobs. In Bay area and NYC itself there are thousands of job openings every week but for every job opening there are ten thousand more fresh CS graduates trying for it. There is demand but the supply for it is even higher because of everyone glorifying the work life in these MNCs. Despite this it is still safer choice compared to a buisness degree. Literally ask any working professional with a few years of experience and he'd tell you the same thing

If you get an internship youโ€™ll be well on your way to a middle class life with a business degree. Itโ€™s a solid low/middle middle class degree. Yea you need to network for it, but you need to do that for anything that isnโ€™t medical.

If your looks are bad enough for you to be considered an incel, it won't be easy, from networking to getting a relationship you will struggle

I could ascend easily. Iโ€™m a hermit rn and have no way to get with girls besides old. And Iโ€™ve never tried that.

Hey retard thereโ€™s more to life than working at top finance firms in NYC. Some frat guy graduating from a random state school in Florida will work in his state as a middle manager at some random corporate company and make 100k. Thats what I mean.

Iโ€™m ltn, gonna ascend to mtn/possible htn tho. I think I can get laid in college tbh.

Brutal. Shouldnโ€™t be too hard tbh

Yea Iโ€™m going back. I dropped out a while ago.

Na I think I can in uni tbh. High school was fucking ass tbh.

Why do you say that?

brutal. This is my fear for going away for college.
Go to college to study and get a career not to fuck girls especially if you are below htn

no, colleges are useless because they don't teach you to shoot guns or survive in the wilderness, things that are actually going to be relevant in the near future. you should stay home and watch youtube videos

Bad advice, this is how you end up an incel STEMcel nerd who spends Friday nights playing league of legends.

The main goal should be the college/frat experience. No amount of money you make in your life will ever come close to those 4 years.

You will NEVER get your youth back. Don't waste it studying 30 hours a week doing some engineering degree.

College mogs, try to NTmaxx the first 2 weeks of school to get friends in your dorm and try to standout as something either the funny guy, the always chill guy, the alcoholic, something. A social halo like this can really help speed up the process of escaping inceldom. Joining a frat works but the hazing is not worth it if you're only joining to fuck whores, also good frats won't take you unless you have something to offer keep that in mind. The first 2 weeks are everything until literally the next year of school, no friends to make in Spring as an ugly incel, Fall is everything. Honestly if you're actually smart it's easy to do stem and socialise but you have to have good time management skills or you're fucked. I am a double stem major maintaining good grades and my social life is completely dependent on if I actually follow my schedule and not waste time which is why I have no social life jfl. Lots of LTBs and MTBs in STEM for you to focus on trying with so you can always study and interact with them, honestly easier than being a business major because all the girls around you are dumb ego boosted MTB+s who won't look at you since they're already fucking guys who mog you. If it's looking bleak JBWmaxx on some ethnics.

Real. This is the only reason why I wanna go away for college, I donโ€™t know if itโ€™s worth the 60-100k tho. Thats whatโ€™s bothering me.
We all live the same life I have to make that decision within the month. I envision doing molly and fucking stacies but unless women are asking me to get my dick sucked itโ€™s gonna be difficult for me to make that happen because I have the social skills of an autist

And you can always take prereuisites while doing your degree and apply to a cheap college near your home for a post-baccalaureate engineering, allied health, comp sci, etc. degree. Would probably only cost 20-40k more.

Thats the hard part man. Itโ€™s difficult for me to open up to people so quick and socialize with them. It takes time for me to come out of my shell. I might take my own advice and take prerequisites for engineering and go to the cheap college near my home for my second bachelors in engineering.
I mean Australian universities have no social life lol. It's not like America where you guys have parties and shit
Brutal. I hear America is the only place where college has partying and stuff. Other places is more for studying.

Interesting. The 60-100k price tag over the 4 years is putting me off. If I go to the college near my house I graduate debt free which would be an advantage. And Iโ€™d start out at 80-90k as an engineering graduate. Decisions decisions.

I think Iโ€™m NT tho, and can ascend to htn by the time college opens.
