First off I’m not retarded

Like yea I know if u took a modern human baby and sent them to 20,000 BCE

And had them grow up there they’d be more robust because environment does play a role

But it could also be that the selection pressures allowed for genes that create bad skulls to proliferate

Like it wasn’t genetically necessary to be able to chew through bones, or roots, or hunt these massive animals

So people with weak bones were able to reproduce
