My face is already wide, and my jaw/zygomatic ratio—including soft tissue—is around 92 per cent. I’m considering implants to correct the inward gonions, but I’m worried this might make my jaw appear disproportionately wide. Theoretically, if a very minimal widening were performed in the area where the masseter muscle is located (2 mm on each side, totalling 4 mm) and the widening were carried out only in the rearmost lower section where the masseter is not attached, how would that look?
